The Eye of Ancient Shu: Inheriting the Past and Present

The archaeological excavation of Sanxingdui Site has achieved fruitful results since 2021, once again attracting the attention of the world. In the first half of 2022, shocking cultural relics were announced, making it one of the most popular hot spots in Sichuan. To further carry the ancient Shu culture and showcase its history, the construction of the new Sanxingdui Ancient Shu Culture Site Museum has become one of the key projects to be promoted in Sichuan Province in 2022. The project is located in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, within the SA3 ring road of Chengdu's most beautiful expressway, adjacent to Chengdu Second Ring Road, 110 kilometers away from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, and 53 kilometers away from Chengdu High speed Railway Station. The construction of the new museum is located within the Sanxingdui Museum Park, with a total investment of 1.433 billion yuan, covering an area of 66 acres and a building area of approximately 55000 square meters. The exhibition planning and design will also be launched simultaneously.

The project is under the general contracting of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Co., Ltd. Our company provides fastener products for the construction of the steel structure part of the project. Now, the steel structure construction of the project has been successfully completed. The project will be fully completed by the end of 2023. In addition to displaying cultural relics from the No. 1.2 sacrificial pit, the new museum will also showcase cultural relics from a new round of major archaeological discoveries. At the same time, it will become the largest single building of a heritage museum in the southwest region, and a landmark landscape of ancient Shu culture and history.

The new museum of Sanxingdui Ancient Shu Cultural Site fully integrates design concepts such as "stacking Sanxing and the Eye of Ancient Shu", and has a strong cultural atmosphere of ancient Shu. This project uses a wide range and multiple types of steel structures, with the largest single support spiral ramp in Asia serving as the link between each floor.
